Library

The library facility is the heart of the school. It enables, encourages and empowers teaching and learning. To inculcate the habit of reading and thinking among the children, JMD world school has a well – stocked library that goes beyond text book learning. From renowned works of fiction to classic self-help books, science and technology. The library has a large collection of periodicals and journals related to history and culture, along with selected local and national dailies.

Science Lab

Science lab aids student in establishing the relevance of the theory. Laboratory teaching assumes the first-hand experience in observation and manipulation of the materials of science to other methods of developing and understanding. Laboratory training is also frequently used to develop skills necessary for more advanced study or research. It brings clarity in the mind of the students regarding the basic concept of the subject. Students understand the difference between theory and application. Laboratory helps a student in improvising their approach towards the subject and provides an experimental culture in the school system.

Computer Lab

School computer lab is packed with an ECO friendly Hi-Tech Computer Labs which offers the students to gain hand on experience of the modern Information Technology and acquire the practical knowledge and the applications of modern computer science which provides fully interactive environment for the children to learn the basic operations and applications of computers. It offers all the resources and equipment for advanced level programming and developing high end animations and client-server applications for the senior students. Lab is well equipped with Wi-Fi and uninterrupted broadband connectivity and are connected to the centralised server room for smooth operation of each computer with 24 x 7 full Power Backup.

Kid's Castle

The first few years of a child in a preschool determine their lifetime. Our Early Years Program is designed to provide the foundation for future academic, social and emotional wellbeing of every child. Inspired by the best practices of Play way and Maria Montessori, we have developed a comprehensive, dynamic and contemporary curriculum that prepares our young ones to go through the journey of life with complete confidence.

We use multi-sensory, thematic play way approach which awakens and illuminates a child’s intellect in multi – dimensional ways. We identify child’s preferred learning style audio-visual, kinaesthetic and design activities in a way that all learners can have optimal learning and balance all learning styles.

We build upon a child’s natural curiosity- We strive to bring our mission for our preschool students so that they may have the academic skills and the social-emotional skills needed for success in future learning. By building upon a child’s natural curiosity and providing a nurturing environment, we believe the key to our students’ growth is knowing each student as an individual and helping them to develop a willingness to take action independently and an ability to reflect upon their own learning.

Mathematics Lab

The Mathematics Lab is uniquely conceptualised and designed and equipped with a wide variety of models The students have taken the initiative to make models of different prisms and pyramids under the guidance of facilitators in an innovative way to master the concepts.

It is a dynamic exploration tool which helps students of all ages to understand the basic concepts of mathematics. Through vivid and illustrious demonstrations, using colourful images children can be put into motion.

Language Lab

Lab is well ventilated and is made as per the norms of CBSE. Here every speaking activity/practical is demonstrated by the qualified teachers. Every student is given an opportunity to speak and listen to the audio/video books.

Audio-visual aids are available with smart board, Students are given enough opportunity to enhance their talent in speech therapy making models, audio-projects etc. So that they can communicate effectively with understanding and originality.

Grade School

Our Elementary School features an energy-efficient design, large classrooms with an abundance of natural light. At JMD World School, experiential learning is encouraged and facilitated through child-friendly teachers; individual attention to children; group discussions and interactions and carefully selected books and learning aids. Children are encouraged to learn about themselves and the people and things around them, including abstract concepts. The emphasis is on anxiety-free learning rather than reading and writing by rote. Learning outside the classroom is much-loved aspects of everyday school life. Children learn other important lessons too: to share, abide by simple rules, get on well with other children and accept the authority of adults. Happy learning, self-confidence, concern for others and a safe environment characterize our primary classes.

Infirmary

The school has well equipped, air conditioned infirmary. The infirmary is looked after by the qualified staff nurse care is taken to provide good and timely medical facility to the students. A health checkup is conducted each term. The infirmary in school is equipped to deal with minor sickness/ illness. Records of individual growth parameters like height, weight, etc. are regularly communicated to parents.
